Safety Builds Success!

Lydig named 1 of the top 12 Safest Companies in the Nation!
Lydig Construction Inc. was recently nationally recognized for our outstanding safety record. EHS Today (a national safety industry magazine) named Lydig as one of “America’s Safest Companies for 2010”. Only 12 companies in the country received this honor. Our comprehensive and innovative approach to safety is a commitment to our clients, business partners and employees and is a reflection to our safety approach.

Our safety program includes a full range of ongoing initiatives, including training for new employees, job site-specific safety programs, weekly toolbox meetings, and regular safety audits.  In addition, all job site personnel are empowered—and required—to proactively address any potential hazards.

Thanks to Lydig’s focus and approach on safety, we year after year have maintained some of the lowerst insurance costs in the industry which translates to lower project cost for our clients. Also important with this is the piece of mind that our clients have knowing that there is nothing more important than safety on a Lydig project.

Our Modification Rate also reflects our safety intentions as for 2010 our rate is .67 which is 33% below that national average.
